A housemaid in Bekasi secretly recorded a woman in a state of undress. The victim was the maid’s employer.

The victim, DK (32), was the employer of the suspect, DA (18). The crime was uncovered when the victim’s husband checked the CCTV footage.

While reviewing the footage, the husband noticed suspicious activity by DA. After confronting her, DA admitted to recording her employer under the orders of her boyfriend, a security guard with the initials MFR.

Now, DA and her boyfriend are facing legal consequences. Both have been named suspects and detained.

1. Uncovered by Husband Checking CCTV

The victim’s husband, who was out of town, checked the CCTV to monitor his child and wife. He then discovered the recording incident.

“The incident came to light after the victim’s husband, who was in Berau, Kalimantan, reviewed the CCTV footage,” said the Bekasi Metro Police Chief.

“He noticed the suspect acting suspiciously, recording with a phone placed at her feet,” the chief explained.

The husband immediately contacted his wife and informed her of what he saw. DK then confronted DA, who confessed.

2. Victim Recorded While Bathing

The suspect, DA, recorded the victim after she finished bathing while still wearing a towel. Unaware, the victim proceeded to dress as usual.

“After leaving the bathroom, the victim was only wrapped in a towel, then removed it, put on pants, and dressed—all while being recorded by DA,” the chief stated.

3. Suspect Admitted Recording Victim for 2 Days

The victim was alerted by her husband about the suspicious activity. Upon interrogation, DA admitted to recording her employer while undressed.

“After questioning, it was revealed that the suspect had recorded the victim for two days—first on the 14th and again on the 15th (of May),” he added.

4. Susclaim Acted Under Boyfriend’s Pressure

The case was reported to the police. DA confessed that she recorded her employer under coercion from her boyfriend.

“Based on the investigation, Suspect DA acted at the request of Suspect MFR (23), her boyfriend,” the chief said.

DA claimed she was threatened by MFR to record the victim undressed. She complied out of fear that her own private videos would be leaked to her family.

“MFR’s motive was resentment, suspecting DA of seeing another man,” he explained.

DA admitted she was forced to record her employer under threats from her boyfriend, who said he would distribute her private videos if she refused.

“The suspect was threatened by her boyfriend to send the recordings. He warned that if she didn’t comply, he would send her explicit videos to her family,” the chief said.

After recording, DA sent the footage to her boyfriend.

5. Boyfriend Also Named Suspect

MFR, a security guard, was arrested the following day in Tangerang. Both suspects face charges under electronic-based sexual violence laws and pornography laws, with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison.

“Evidence seized includes two mobile phones, an external drive containing recordings, and a towel,” the chief said.
