CIKARANG – The Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of Bekasi Regency, Hudaya, guarantees that there will be no budget efficiency in 2026. According to him, the efficiency measures by the Bekasi Regency Government will only apply in 2025.

Efficiency measures in the 2025 budget have already been implemented three times, resulting in savings of Rp 470 billion.

“It has already saved Rp 470 billion from technical guidance programs, activities held in hotels, and official travel within and outside the city,” he said.

Furthermore, Hudaya explained that no efficiency cuts were applied to technical or infrastructure agencies during the efficiency period, as development projects must not be halted.

“All physical activities by technical or infrastructure agencies remain unchanged, with no reductions in their operations,” he stated.

He acknowledged that the results of the efficiency measures had been discussed with the Budget Committee at the Bekasi Regency Legislative Council (DPRD).

“I have already communicated the efficiency savings with the Budget Committee, but not yet with the full council. The plan is to present it during the KUAPPAS session,” he explained.

In the 2026 budget year, Hudaya stated that the Bekasi Regency Government will no longer implement efficiency measures, as there will be additional budget allocations for several regional agencies (OPD).

“Hopefully, next year in 2026, there will be no more efficiency measures. 2025 is enough,” he concluded.
