The transfer market ahead of the new season is starting to stir up various speculations. This time, two players who were part of the championship squad, namely Robi Darwis and Alfeandra Dewangga, are reportedly on Arema FC’s radar.

The rumor emerged after both players were considered to have not received ideal playing time with Persib Bandung throughout last season. The intense competition within Bojan Hodak’s squad has forced several players to work extra hard to secure a spot in the starting lineup.

Robi Darwis is one of the players who rarely got the chance to play. Throughout the 2025/2026 season, the Persib Academy product appeared in 18 matches with a total of 194 minutes of play.

Although he hasn’t managed to score a goal, Robi Darwis contributed one assist and was trusted to fill various positions when the team faced a player crisis.

His ability to play as a defensive midfielder or wing-back made Robi Darwis a crucial option for Persib Bandung during emergency situations caused by injuries or accumulated cards of key players.

Meanwhile, Alfeandra Dewangga, who joined Persib Bandung as an experienced player, also hasn’t fully become a first-choice option. Over the past season, he recorded 12 appearances with a total of 676 minutes of play.

This situation has sparked speculation about the future of both players. Arema FC is mentioned as one of the clubs interested in taking advantage of this condition to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

For Arema FC, the presence of Robi Darwis and Alfeandra Dewangga could be a promising addition. Besides still being in their productive years, both have experience playing at the international level with the Indonesian national team and have just experienced the championship atmosphere with Persib Bandung.

However, so far there has been no official confirmation from the management of Persib Bandung or Arema FC regarding this transfer news. Everything is still just a rumor developing ahead of the opening of the transfer window.

So far, Persib Bandung has only announced one player who is confirmed not to continue cooperation for next season, namely Layvin Kurzawa. The French defender did not receive a contract extension after joining Persib Bandung mid-last season.

With the busy schedule Persib Bandung will face next season, including in domestic and Asian competitions, decisions regarding the future of Robi Darwis and Alfeandra Dewangga are expected to become one of the interesting issues to monitor in the coming weeks.
