PT Daya Adicipta Motora (DAM), the Main Dealer for Honda motorcycles and spare parts in West Java, successfully held the 2026 Regional Safety Riding Competition for the Community Advisor category on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Honda DAM Safety Riding Center (SRC).

The event was attended by 40 members of the Honda community who are part of the West Java Honda Motor Association (IMHJB). This is part of Honda’s ongoing efforts to promote safe riding and create safety riding pioneers within the community.

The competition was divided into two categories: the Community Advisor Matic for female participants using the Honda Vario 160 and the Community Advisor Sport for male participants using the Honda CB150R Streetfire. All participants went through a series of selection stages designed to test their abilities, knowledge, and understanding of safe riding according to Honda standards.

In this competition, participants took a theory test via Quizizz and a practical exam that included braking, slalom, and narrow plank exercises. Scoring was based on the participants’ understanding of safe riding, practical skills, and their attitude and discipline during the competition.

The General Manager of Motorcycle Sales, Marketing, & Logistics at DAM stated that the community plays an important role in supporting the creation of a safe and responsible riding culture on the roads.

“The Honda community is not only a place to share hobbies and build relationships but also has a strategic role as a pioneer of safe riding. Through this Regional Safety Riding Advisor Community Competition, we want to improve the competence of community members so they better understand the importance of safe riding and can set a good example for other road users. We hope the spirit of #Cari_Aman can continue to be applied and spread by the Honda community in West Java,” said the General Manager.

The Regional Safety Riding Advisor Community Competition is one of the ongoing development programs carried out by Honda for its fostered communities. Besides improving safe riding skills, this activity also serves as a way to strengthen participants’ understanding of the importance of traffic safety and to build a responsible riding character.

Through this competition, the best participants will have the opportunity to take part in coaching stages and training camps, as part of a competency development program to create advisors who can become pioneers of safe riding within the community and the wider public.

PT Astra Honda Motor, together with the entire network of Honda Main Dealers in Indonesia, remains committed to promoting a culture of safe riding through the #Cari_Aman tagline. Through various educational programs, training, and safe riding competitions, Honda hopes to continue contributing to creating safer, more comfortable, and more orderly traffic for all road users.

Through this activity, DAM hopes that Honda community members can continue to be examples in applying a safe riding culture and help spread the spirit of #Cari_Aman to the wider community.

Thus, the community is not only a place for hobbies and relationships but also becomes Honda’s partner in building a safe and responsible traffic culture.
