Efforts to enhance riding understanding and skills were once again highlighted when PT Daya Adicipta Motora (DAM) held the # at the DAM Safety Riding Center Building.

This event is part of an ongoing series of riding safety education programs held throughout the year.

A total of 40 participants from two categories took part. They came from the fostered communities of the Honda Motor Association of West Java and general participants who had previously attended safety riding training at DAM. The presence of these two groups created a more dynamic competition atmosphere, with diverse riding experience backgrounds.

Differing from previous years’ events, the assessment format still covered theory and practice, but with a more structured flow.

In the theory session, participants were asked to complete several scenarios depicting real-life situations on the road. These questions assessed how riders make quick decisions, including reading risks and considering the safety of others.

The practical session was conducted in an outdoor area prepared to resemble everyday riding conditions. Participants were tested on their braking skills on a special track and their agility through obstacles on a Slalom Course. Motorcycle control, timing accuracy, and a calm demeanor were aspects observed by the judges throughout the practical test.

It was emphasized that this competition is not merely a showcase of technical skill. Furthermore, the activity encourages participants to re-understand the importance of riding ethics.

“Through the spirit of Synergy for the Nation, we hope the #Cari_Aman campaign can continue to raise rider awareness about the importance of mutual respect on the road. Participants are expected to become role models for their surroundings,” a representative stated.

This educational approach aligns with the belief that riding safety does not stop at the ability to control a motorcycle, but also includes attitude and concern. Discipline, the ability to read conditions, and sensitivity to other road users are cited as the main foundations for creating safe traffic.

As part of the #Cari_Aman campaign, DAM continues to expand access to riding safety education for the public. The year-round program provides opportunities for participants from various backgrounds to deepen their understanding of basic techniques and traffic ethics. Through this effort, DAM hopes more riders will be able to maintain their own safety and that of others on the road.
