The Sepatan Police in Tangerang City sealed a stall suspected of distributing hard drugs, specifically Tramadol and Eximer, without proper permits in Sepatan District, Tangerang Regency, on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
The Sepatan Police Chief stated that the stall operated under the guise of a grocery store, causing concern among local residents.
“That’s correct. Today, we sealed a stall posing as a grocery store that was strongly suspected of selling hard drugs like Tramadol and Eximer without official permits from the local Health Office or the Banten Provincial Food and Drug Monitoring Agency,” he said.
He explained that swift action was taken following reports from residents who were alarmed by the widespread circulation of these drugs in Sepatan District, particularly among students.
“We received numerous reports from concerned citizens about the harmful effects of these drugs, especially on young people. Many buyers were elementary to vocational high school students who used them to fuel reckless behavior, such as brawls or other criminal acts,” he added.
Regarding this discovery, the Police Chief emphasized that there would be no tolerance for the distribution of narcotics or illegal hard drugs within their jurisdiction.
“There will be no leniency for anyone attempting to sell or distribute hard drugs like Tramadol and Eximer in our area. If they persist, we will take strict action,” he asserted.
He urged all members of the community to work together in maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
“Report any suspicious activity immediately through the Tangerang City Police Call Center at 110 or the complaint service via WhatsApp at 082211110110. We will follow up on all reports,” he concluded.
