BEKASI CITY – The deputy chairperson of Commission II of the Bekasi City Council highlighted the lack of transparency from the Regional Device Organizations to the City Council, which directly affects the weak information regarding the budget absorption in the first half of 2025.
According to the deputy, the minimal publication of work programs by the Regional Device Organizations makes it difficult for the City Council to know how far the development budget has been absorbed in various areas of Bekasi City.
“The Regional Device Organizations do not publish their work programs enough, so we also do not know where the budget absorption has gone and which areas have absorbed it,” said the deputy.
They emphasized that as representatives of various electoral districts, the City Council should receive sufficient information to be able to communicate government program developments to the public.
