Eid-ul-Adha celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: The festival of sacrifice, Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid), was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm across the state, including Hyderabad. Members of the Muslim community offered special prayers, seeking peace, brotherhood, and prosperity.
A large number of people performed Eid prayers at various Eidgahs and mosques, including the Mir Alam Eidgah in the city, and exchanged greetings with each other. The festival of Bakrid was observed with reverence in different districts of the state. After Eid, people were seen distributing portions of the sacrificial meat to the poor and relatives.
Usually, people personally visit friends and relatives to offer portions of the sacrifice, but this time it is reported that people also took advantage of delivery services. A prominent leader extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the Muslim community and appealed to promote the message of brotherhood and humanity. Earlier, the Governor, Chief Minister, opposition party leader, and leaders from various political parties extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the Muslim community.
