Elevated corridor from LB Nagar to Pedda Amberpet at a cost of 650 crores
Hyderabad, Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced that an elevated corridor will be constructed from LB Nagar to Pedda Amberpet on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway at a cost of approximately ₹650 crore. He also revealed plans for a new Greenfield road that will reduce travel time between Hyderabad and Vijayawada to just two hours. As part of the project review, he conducted an inspection at the Vanasthalipuram junction on Sunday.
The Minister acknowledged the long-standing traffic issues faced by residents in the area and assured that pending infrastructure projects would be expedited. He mentioned plans to meet with the Union Minister on the 6th of this month to discuss the elevated corridor project.
During the visit, he questioned why the previous government failed to complete the Uppal-Narapally flyover despite claims of developing Hyderabad. He accused the BRS government of misleading people and burdening the state with debt under the guise of creating a “Golden Telangana.”
