Hyderabad, Telangana Rakshana Samithi (TRS) chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha accused the former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s government and the current Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government of looting Telangana like bandits, stating that earlier BRS had opened windows for looting, and now the Congress government has opened the doors. Addressing the media at the TRS office in Banjara Hills, K. Kavitha said that earlier the state had KTR rule, and now KTR is still in operation.

K. Kavitha explained KTR as KCR, Tanneeru Harish Rao, and Rama Rao, and the current KTR rule as Kondal Reddy, Tirupati Reddy, and Revanth Reddy, and said nothing has changed between the two regimes, only this time the loot has increased. She said that during the previous KCR government’s 10-year rule, Phoenix was provided with Telangana government lands worth about 10,000 crore rupees, which was strongly opposed by then-opposition leader Revanth Reddy.

K. Kavitha targets government over land grabs

K. Kavitha alleged that after coming to power, the Revanth government is acting in the same manner. Kavitha accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, his family, government ministers, MLAs, and MPs of all engaging in looting. She alleged that the government is attempting to loot state lands worth about 1 lakh crore rupees to the rich. She further alleged that Sri Aditya Builders is constructing buildings on land within the Musi River, violating regulations.

K. Kavitha said that Sri Aditya Builders has occupied 7 acres of land within the Musi riverbed, behind which there is a Member of Parliament. She said that a 20-story building is being constructed on land worth about 700 crore rupees, but the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRA) has not even stopped it. She alleged that at survey number 59 in the Nagaram municipality perimeter, a company named Mega Constructions’ I-Com, which manufactures weapons, has occupied 5 acres of land, and a proposal has been passed in the municipality for this, but the government is not intervening.

K. Kavitha demanded that the government stop these encroachments, saying that TRS will launch a widespread movement and, if necessary, approach the Supreme Court. She accused the government of selling government lands and asked what will remain for future generations if lands are sold in this manner.

Now this is the last Congress government…

K. Kavitha said that this is the last Congress government because Congress will not come to power for the next 20 years. She alleged that the Congress government is looting Telangana’s resources. She accused Tollywood actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan of purchasing 10 acres of shikam land at survey number 706, Kodikunta Cheruvu, related to the irrigation department, and demanded its immediate return to the government. Kavitha, attacking the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said that in the future, the BJP will not have 8 MPs. She asked why the central government, which buys all the paddy from Punjab, is hesitating to buy all the paddy from Telangana. She said the public is watching everything.
