Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the National Democratic Alliance’s vice presidential candidate C P Radhakrishnan, saying he has created a distinct identity with his dedication, humility, and intelligence.
Following the selection of Mr. Radhakrishnan as the vice presidential candidate in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s parliamentary board meeting held on Sunday, Mr. Modi said it is a matter of joy that the NDA family has declared him as the vice presidential candidate.
Modi said in a post on social media platform X, “In his long public life, Thiru C.P. Radhakrishnan has created a distinct identity with his dedication, humility, and intelligence. While serving in various positions, he has always focused on community service and empowerment of the underprivileged. He has done extensive grassroots work in Tamil Nadu.
I am happy that the NDA family has decided to nominate him as our coalition’s vice presidential candidate.” It is notable that nominations for the vice presidential election can be filed until August 21, and if needed, the election will be held on September 9 according to the scheduled program. The vice presidential election is being conducted following the resignation of Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar.
