To strengthen railway infrastructure and upgrade passenger facilities under the bullet train project, a traffic block will be taken on the Geratpur–Ahmedabad section on April 24, 2026. This block is proposed for the launching work of the fourth precast portal beam, due to which several train services passing through the Vadodara division will be affected.

Train number 20902 Gandhinagar Capital–Mumbai Central Vande Bharat Express will start from Ahmedabad on April 24 and will remain canceled between Gandhinagar Capital and Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, train number 20901 Mumbai Central–Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express will be short-terminated at Vatva station, and service will remain canceled between Vatva and Gandhinagar Capital. Train number 12009 Mumbai Central–Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express will depart from Mumbai Central on April 24 with a delay of 1 hour 15 minutes.

Train number 69102 Vatva–Vadodara MEMU and 69115 Vadodara–Vatva MEMU will remain canceled on April 24. Additionally, 22959 Vadodara–Jamnagar Intercity on April 23 and 22960 Jamnagar–Vadodara Intercity on April 24 will remain canceled. Train number 19033 Valsad–Ahmedabad Gujarat Queen will remain partially canceled between the Vadodara–Ahmedabad section on April 24.

Train number 19484 Asansol–Ahmedabad Express and 12834 Howrah–Ahmedabad Express will be held for up to 1 hour 40 minutes in the Vadodara division. Meanwhile, 12755 Kakinada Port–Bhavnagar Superfast Express will be delayed by about 45 minutes, and 12474 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra–Gandhidham Express will be delayed by about 1 hour 45 minutes. The railway administration has requested passengers to check the official website for train timings, halts, and other updated information before traveling.
