Hyderabad, the birthday of V. Hanumantha Rao, a senior leader of the Congress and former MP, was celebrated with great enthusiasm today. State ministers, MPs, legislators, and members of the Legislative Council, along with party leaders, visited his residence to offer their greetings. His residence saw a steady stream of party leaders and workers throughout the day.
The state’s Transport Minister joined the celebration specially and extended his wishes to Hanumantha Rao. Many notable leaders participated in Hanumantha Rao’s birthday celebration, and the Minister had lunch with GHMC workers, students, and sanitation workers in the afternoon.
The Minister stated that this event is not just limited to a birthday celebration but also an opportunity to demonstrate the policies of the Congress Party and its empathy towards the weaker sections. The Minister emphasized that the party has always been clear about its stance on reservations and welfare for the weaker sections. Justice for the weaker sections has been possible only during the terms of Congress governments.
