Khammam, Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu stated that the Congress party is synonymous with electricity. After inaugurating the 1912 electric ambulance service and a health camp for electricity department employees at the Khammam district headquarters, he made these remarks at a public meeting. He said that all the major power projects completed in the state so far were started and completed during the Congress rule.
