International IPs gather in Shanghai as the city’s theme park matrix rises.
In the early summer of 2025, Shanghai’s LEGOLAND is undergoing rigorous internal testing to prepare for its official opening on July 5th. During this period, the waiting time for most attractions is around 20 minutes, while popular attractions require queuing for more than 70 minutes. The park’s operational processes are still being fine-tuned.
Shanghai LEGOLAND Resort is the first LEGOLAND in China and the largest in the world in terms of scale. Upon opening, this theme park, which took nearly 1300 days to build, will join Shanghai Disneyland, Peppa Pig World, and the Harry Potter Studio Tour in forming a strategic layout of theme parks in all directions within Shanghai, concentrating top global themed entertainment brands in the Chinese market like never before.
