Through these, steps have been taken to prevent the disturbance by flat owners or tenants towards the occupants or neighbors. Recently, in a developing story, a society in a posh locality of Bengaluru installed a strange alert whereby bachelors living as tenants were not allowed entry into their flats with their guests post 10 PM. They also stated that those who try to exploit this rule with force will face severe actions and may be penalized up to the maximum potential using electronic surveillance equipment, especially for immediate data provision. An anonymous user reported the society’s post on Reddit. It stated, „Bachelors are not allowed to take any non-residents inside their flats post 10 PM. Furthermore, any form of gathering should not extend beyond this timeframe. If such an act is witnessed, immediate electronic, property, or association-controlled preventive measures are undertaken against them.“ Stringent Actions on Entry Post Deadline
Before this, the association has stated that bachelors should be informed of the rules „to prevent any entry“. The notice states, „No entry will be allowed in the buildings. A fine of 1000 rupees will be charged for violations. The association also provided some other notes to inform other tenants and residents that „doors will not entertain frequent entries post the deadline“,“entry at scattered times is not allowed“ and „post 10 PM, phone calls to security or guards for reasons not dictated will not be entertained.“ Locals in Society React
In the society, locals expressed their opinion that „In this gathering, setting noise restrictions is a must as people residing on the lower flats stay concealed whereas not. Local guards see that the gathering continues.“ Observations following these, some participants shared their online differences and grievance platforms. „This also benefits the hostel. You must maintain a flat, but to see two days beforehand, rent aggressively to unmet requirements,“ said the necklace of an observer. The society’s decision is shocking.
