Recently, in a developing story, a society in an upscale locality of Bengaluru implemented a strict rule where bachelors living as tenants were prohibited from entering their flats with guests after 10 PM. They also stated that those who attempt to violate this rule forcefully will face severe consequences, including potential penalties enforced through electronic surveillance for immediate action. An anonymous user shared the society’s post, which stated, «Bachelors are not permitted to bring non-residents into their flats after 10 PM. Additionally, any gatherings must not continue beyond this time. If such activity is observed, immediate electronic, property, or association-controlled preventive measures will be taken.» Strict Enforcement of Entry After Deadline
Previously, the association emphasized that bachelors must be informed of the rules «to prevent unauthorized entry.» The notice clarifies, «No entry will be permitted in the buildings after the deadline. A fine of 1000 rupees will be imposed for violations.» The association also issued additional guidelines, informing tenants and residents that «doors will not allow frequent entries after the deadline,» «entry at irregular intervals is prohibited,» and «after 10 PM, phone calls to security or guards for non-specified reasons will not be entertained.» Local Residents Respond
Some residents in the society shared their views, stating, «Noise restrictions are necessary for gatherings, as those living in lower flats are affected while others may not be. Security guards ensure compliance.» Following these observations, some participants expressed disagreements and grievances online. «This rule also impacts hostels.
