Announcement of Nominees for the “July 1 Medal”

This year marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. The Party Central Committee has decided to conduct the selection and awarding of the “July 1 Medal” to honor party members who have made outstanding contributions to the Party and the people and who possess high moral character. Based on nominations from provincial (autonomous region, municipality) party committees, relevant central departments (systems) party committees (working committees, party groups), and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, and after preliminary review, investigation, and deliberation, eight nominees for the “July 1 Medal” have been proposed.

To fully promote democracy, widely solicit opinions, and accept public oversight, the relevant nominees are hereby publicized. The publicity period runs from June 1 to June 5, 2026. If there are objections to the proposed nominees, please contact the Central Organization Department’s Reporting Center during the publicity period. Reports can be made by phone, letter, or email. For letters, the postmark date shall prevail. Materials submitted on behalf of an organization must be stamped with the organization’s official seal; materials submitted by individuals must include the real name and a contact phone number.
