    Owner filed a complaint

    This case came to light when Rahul Jaichand Batra, the owner of a warehouse named ‘Rahul Ceramics Private Limited’, filed a complaint with the police. Rahul Jaichand deals in tiles, sanitary ware, and CP fittings. According to Batra, during the night between May 27 and 28, unknown thieves removed tin sheets from the roof and entered the warehouse. They stole luxury sanitary products worth 6.5 lakh rupees.

    What were the faucet prices?

    This included five gold-tone designer faucets worth 3,94,500 rupees, three standard color faucets worth 67,000 rupees, nine rose gold color faucets worth 1,30,500 rupees, and four silver color faucets that were stolen, worth 58,000 rupees.

    Minors taken into custody

    A special investigative team reconstructed the crime scene and checked footage from 20-35 CCTV cameras in the surrounding areas. They also sought help from local residents, and then the police arrested the suspect. Following this, the police reached the accused who had committed the theft. Along with one main accused, two minors have been taken into custody. Under strict interrogation, the boys confessed to the theft to buy iPhones for their girlfriends.
