On the occasion of International Children’s Day, on the morning of May 30, the Beijing Public Security Bureau, under the theme “Guard Safety, Walk with You,” organized over 400 primary school students to visit the police dog base of the Beijing Public Security Bureau. The event, titled “Anti-Fraud, I’m Here,” was conducted in partnership with relevant organizations. Through immersive police station visits, live police dog demonstrations, and fun anti-fraud educational sessions, it offered children a gift that combined safety, education, and a sense of ceremony.
“Police dogs are truly special heroes who guard our safety!” At the event, children embarked on a journey of discovery with awe and curiosity. Under a detailed introduction, they toured exhibits showcasing the history of the police dog unit, learning about its evolution from early exploration to professional and practical development. They listened to heartwarming stories behind medals of honor, where police dogs and their handlers fought side by side to protect safety, reflecting the dedication and responsibility of generations of public security officers.
In the equipment and police vehicle display area, various police dog gear, training tools, and service vehicles were neatly arranged. Through close observation and explanations, children gained a direct understanding of the functions and uses of public security equipment, as well as the important role of police dog technology in criminal investigations and public safety management. This gave them a new and profound appreciation for the professionalism and rigor of police work.
The live police dog demonstration ignited the atmosphere. With clear and powerful commands from handlers, multiple working dogs—including German Shepherds, Malinois, and Springer Spaniels—took turns showcasing core practical skills, demonstrating exceptional capabilities.

In the blood detection exercise, police dogs used their extremely sensitive noses to precisely locate trace amounts of blood on asphalt surfaces, completing the search efficiently. In the obedience training exercise, they accurately responded to commands like sit, lie down, stand, and bark, showing perfect coordination with their handlers. In the obstacle course, the dogs moved swiftly and leaped gracefully, clearing high boards, broken bridges, and A-frame ladders, earning continuous applause from the audience.
Finally, the human search and bite work exercises were performed. The dogs accurately identified simulated crowd scents, pinpointed targets, and decisively subdued “target individuals,” giving children a close-up experience of the reliability and strength of police dog protection.
After the exciting police dog demonstrations, a lively anti-fraud safety class for teenagers began. Focusing on common telecom and online fraud traps faced by primary school students, the session addressed typical scams such as fake transactions in online games, task-based rebate fraud, and impersonation of law enforcement. Using real case studies, the explanations were delivered in simple language to help children understand these deceptive tactics.

A spokesperson for the Beijing Public Security Bureau stated that this “Anti-Fraud, I’m Here” police station visit event, timed for Children’s Day, innovated anti-fraud education by blending fun holiday experiences with safety learning. This allowed children to experience police culture up close and grasp anti-fraud safety knowledge. Moving forward, the bureau will continue to strengthen school safety efforts, regularly hold diverse police station open days and safety lectures, build a robust campus safety network, and warmly support the healthy and happy growth of young people.
