The second training session for the “Cybersecurity in Rural Areas” and “Internet-Powered Villages” local internet influencers program was held in Pingyuan County. County committee members, along with representatives from municipal and county cybersecurity offices, the County Agriculture, Rural Affairs, and Water Resources Bureau, as well as internet influencers from municipal, county, and town levels, new agricultural business operators, leading agricultural enterprises, cultural tourism businesses, and new media operators participated in the event.
The event was organized by the Municipal Cybersecurity Office and hosted by the County Propaganda Department and County Cybersecurity Office. It aimed to strengthen cybersecurity education in rural areas, promote the deep integration of “media + specialty industries” and the “Internet-Powered Villages” initiative with the “Hundreds, Thousands, and Tens of Thousands Project,” actively foster new “media+” and “internet+” business models, expand sales channels for Pingyuan’s agricultural products, enhance the branding of cultural tourism resources with digital momentum, and support high-quality rural industry development and comprehensive rural revitalization.

During the training sessions, three self-media representatives shared valuable insights: one presented on “Practical New Media Content Creation,” covering content planning and platform operation techniques; another discussed “Exploring and Promoting Local Meizhou Content,” guiding participants on how to discover and effectively share their hometown’s unique charm; and a third delivered “Starting Your Local Short Video Journey,” outlining steps for beginners to create short videos.


Participants traveled by bus to the Shizheng Town community center and the “Two Riverbanks” scenic area in Pingyuan County. The instructors provided hands-on guidance on capturing on-site material, designing shooting scripts, and optimizing content presentation, using the local scenery and natural landscapes as examples.
