On August 6, visitors attended the Hebei Anti-Japanese War Photo Archive Exhibition. Held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the exhibition is jointly organized by multiple institutions and is currently on display at the Hebei Museum in Shijiazhuang.

The Hebei Anti-Japanese War Photo Archive Exhibition is a historical showcase in Hebei Province, China, featuring photographs and documents that highlight the region’s resistance against Japanese invasion during the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945). The exhibition preserves memories of local heroism, sacrifices, and the broader struggle during this turbulent period. It serves as both an educational resource and a tribute to the resilience of the Chinese people during wartime.

Hebei Museum

The Hebei Museum, located in Shijiazhuang, is one of the major provincial museums in China, showcasing over 240,000 cultural relics that highlight Hebei’s rich history from the Neolithic era to modern times. Established in 1953, the museum features notable exhibits, including ancient bronzes, ceramics, and artifacts from the Yan and Zhao states (circa 8th–3rd centuries BCE). Its collections provide deep insights into Hebei’s role as a historical and cultural crossroads in northern China.
