On the morning of September 1, the 25th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States was held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. The President of the State chaired the meeting and delivered an important speech.

It was emphasized that fairness and justice must be upheld. The correct view of World War II history should be promoted, while opposing Cold War mentality, bloc confrontation, and bullying practices. The international system with the United Nations at its core must be safeguarded, and the multilateral trading system centered on the World Trade Organization should be supported. An equal and orderly multipolar world and inclusive economic globalization are advocated, striving to build a more just and reasonable global governance system.
