This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. A flower basket ceremony honoring the people’s heroes was solemnly held at Tiananmen Square this morning, attended by national leaders.
The ceremony to present flower baskets to the people’s heroes officially began, with all participants singing the national anthem.
