This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. A flower basket ceremony to honor the people’s heroes was solemnly held this morning at Tiananmen Square, attended by national leaders.
During the ceremony, a trumpeter from the People’s Liberation Army Band performed the “Martyrs’ Memorial Day Fanfare.”
