TANGERANGNEWS.com- The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Tangerang City has issued an appeal urging the public to maintain security, order, and harmonious coexistence amid the recent heated national situation.

The MUI of Tangerang City expressed deep concern over the events that occurred in Jakarta in recent days.

Prayers were also offered for the victims and their families, wishing them strength and patience.

“We extend our condolences to the victims. May the bereaved families be granted fortitude, and may our nation swiftly return to a peaceful atmosphere,” the statement expressed.

The public, especially residents of Tangerang City, were encouraged to prioritize unity, maintain conducive conditions, and express aspirations through legally established mechanisms.

“Public aspirations should be conveyed through the mechanisms regulated in our national and state life. Differences of opinion must not lead to division within society. However, it must be ensured that the people’s voices are conveyed and heard calmly,” it emphasized.

The role of all elements of society is deemed necessary to safeguard the nation’s integrity. Therefore, a spirit of brotherhood, unity, and peace must be upheld so that Tangerang City can serve as an example of a harmonious region.

“Once again, I call upon everyone to jointly maintain security and order for the sake of a peaceful and harmonious life within our community,” the appeal concluded.
