In this age of the internet, CCTV cameras are installed everywhere. Everyone has mobile phones and the power of social media, yet there are still such beasts roaming freely who do not fear the law and take advantage of any opportunity to make women and girls victims of their lust. There are even monsters who look at innocent little girls with wrong intentions and commit atrocities against them.
Identification through CCTV footage
In a disturbing video, a man is seen publicly kissing and touching a third-grade student in Bengal. The child was targeted when she went to a sweet shop. After his actions were captured on CCTV, police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). Police are conducting raids to search for the accused.
Video goes viral
The student was with her grandmother at the time of the incident at a sweet shop in Uttarpara, Hooghly. Both had stopped at a sweet shop when a middle-aged man approached her and began harassing her. The video shows a fat man with receding hair approaching the girl in the shop and talking to her. The video shows the man trying to touch the child near the shop counter.
The video shows the man patting the child’s head and then touching her cheek while the grandmother remains unaware of what is happening. Then he leans in to kiss the girl on the cheek. The video shows him trying to kiss her on the mouth once more, but the child moves away. During this time, several other people come and go from the shop, but no one realizes something is wrong. The child’s grandmother also fails to notice what is happening around her. The video shows the man putting his hand on the girl’s shoulder and then putting his finger in her mouth while the girl stood next to her grandmother.
