During a ‘one-month anniversary date,’ a woman who suffered sexual victimization from a male student she was dating at the time in various locations such as school classrooms and local parks has now transitioned from her third year of high school to her third year of university, with job hunting looming ahead.

It was learned through interviews with involved parties that a third-party committee established by the school recognized the sexual victimization allegedly inflicted on a female student, who was in her third year at the time, by a male student she was dating in 2022 at a private school in Yokkaichi City, as a ‘serious bullying incident,’ stating that ‘the woman experienced psychological distress.’

The focus is on ‘determining whether sexual acts within a dating relationship constitute bullying.’

According to a 31-page report compiled in June of this year by a third-party committee composed of four members, including university professors and lawyers, it was determined that the sexual acts took place in locations where unwanted people could enter and exit, causing psychological burden to the victimized woman.
