A man was detained in Krasnodar for riding a tram in women's clothing

A 42-year-old man, previously convicted for theft, faces a fine ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 rubles for promoting non-traditional sexual relations.

Law enforcement established that the man, while on public transport, was dressed in women’s clothing, thus promoting non-traditional sexual relations.

“These actions differ from the generally accepted norms of behavior in ordinary society. They distort perceptions of the social equivalence of traditional and non-traditional sexual relations, which also promotes the emergence of interests in society and the formation of persistent stereotypes, including immoral ones,” said the statement.

During the interrogation, the man stated that he wore women’s clothing because he liked it. He also mentioned that he had discarded the women’s items “to avoid problems.”

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the offender. The materials were sent to court for substantive consideration.
