CIKARANG – The Secretary of the Bekasi Regency PDI Perjuangan DPC, Usup Supriatna, led a flag ceremony in commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia at the DPC office on Jalan Raya inspeksi Kalimalang, Bekasi Regency.

“The commemoration of independence is a moment to honor the services of heroes and to strengthen cadre solidarity. In addition, to realize care for the people, we are holding a charity event,” he stated.

The Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan Faction of the Bekasi Regency DPRD, Nyumarno, added that commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia is an important obligation for all citizens to understand the history of this nation, which must always be remembered.

“The independence of this nation was fought for with great sacrifice by the nation’s founders. As successors, we are obliged to maintain that spirit with real work and sustainable development,” he emphasized.

Nyumarno also urged all PDI Perjuangan cadres to continue supporting the local government’s programs.

“Together, we can realize the goal of making Bekasi rise, advance, and prosper,” he concluded.

In addition to the ceremony, the event was also enlivened by various traditional competitions such as tug-of-war, stilt walking, and a red and white balloon dance. The PDI Perjuangan DPC also held a social activity in the form of charity for 80 orphans and distributed school supplies, as a form of care and a symbolic gesture in accordance with the 80th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence.

The event was attended by the ranks of the DPC management, Chairpersons, Secretaries, and Treasurers of the Sub-district Leadership Councils (PAC) throughout Bekasi Regency, management of party bodies and wings, as well as members of the Bekasi Regency DPRD from the PDI Perjuangan Faction.

The 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia event held by the Bekasi Regency PDI Perjuangan DPC took place solemnly and with a strong spirit of togetherness. Cadres and sympathizers appeared enthusiastic in following the series of activities until the end.
