Recently, reports have emerged that French sports retail giant Decathlon is planning to sell approximately 30% of its Chinese subsidiary. The preliminary valuation for this business is estimated to be between 10 to 15 billion euros (approximately 100 billion yuan). In response to this news, Decathlon China stated, “Decathlon remains committed to long-term development in China, working alongside Chinese consumers and partners. We firmly uphold our corporate mission: to create a better life through the power of sports and make the joy of sports accessible across China. We do not comment on market rumors.”
