Auto Ltd. has announced the appointment of Mr. Phạm Nhật Quân Anh as Chairman of the Board of Directors of VinFast.
The decision aims to meet the requirements of global expansion in a new development phase. Accordingly, Mr. Quân Anh will assume the highest position on the board of directors from May 23, replacing Ms. Lê Thị Thu Thủy.
Mr. Quân Anh currently serves as Vice Chairman and Permanent Deputy General Director at VinFast Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company.
He is described as having multi-sector management experience, having actively contributed to the development process from the foundation-building stage in the domestic market to VinFast’s journey of expanding its presence globally.
Meanwhile, Ms. Lê Thị Thu Thủy will step down from her position as Chairman and leave the board of directors to focus on key objectives of the Group—VinFast’s major shareholder—where she holds the position of Vice Chairman.
After taking office, Mr. Phạm Nhật Quân Anh shared his “desire to work alongside the leadership to take VinFast into a new development phase.”
Mr. Phạm Nhật Quân Anh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Singapore Management University.
He previously held roles as Deputy General Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Vinpearl Joint Stock Company from 2017 to 2019. This period allowed him to gain extensive experience in operational management, system development, and strategic planning.
Since joining VinFast in February 2019, Mr. Phạm Nhật Quân Anh has held several key leadership positions across all areas, from vehicle development and production to sales and after-sales service.
Alongside the high-end Lac Hong line and VinFast’s mainstream product range, building a separate identity for the Green line is seen as a step to clearly differentiate product groups based on the actual usage needs of each customer segment.
