These achievements indicate that Banten is considered strong in aspects of transparency, budget management, and procurement of goods and services. At the same time, it highlights the need for strengthening anti-corruption socialization.
SPI as a Strategic Instrument to Map Corruption Risks
Regarding these results, the KPK leadership emphasized that the SPI is a strategic instrument for mapping corruption risks and assessing the quality of government governance.
“Thank you and appreciation to all parties, including ministries, institutions, state administrators, and regional leaders who make the SPI part of efforts to build clean governance,” expressed the KPK leadership.
It was stated that corruption eradication is carried out through a Trident strategy, namely enforcement, prevention, and anti-corruption education. According to them, the SPI falls within the prevention and education space, thus becoming a source of objective data to encourage governance changes in ministries, institutions, and regional governments.
“We use data and public conversation to encourage changes in government governance,” added the KPK leadership.
The KPK leadership also reminded that despite the increase, several dimensions of the national SPI still require attention, especially regarding anti-corruption socialization and public perception of bureaucratic impartiality. They emphasized that the quality of governance is not only determined by numbers.
“But also through a culture of integrity that is consistently implemented,” concluded the KPK leadership.
Through the 2025 SPI report, the KPK hopes that every institution will continue to strengthen systems, processes, and human resource capacity to realize clean, fair public services free from conflicts of interest.
