Indian-American Singer Chandrika Tandon Wins Grammy Award

New Delhi, Beyoncé has become the first black woman to win a Grammy in the country music category in 50 years. The cultural icon won the Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Miley Cyrus for the song ‘II Most Wanted’.

Entry into the Grammy Awards with 11 nominations

Beyoncé entered the 2025 Grammy Awards with 11 nominations, including Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter and Best Country Album. Her hit song ‘Texas Hold ‘em’ was also nominated in several categories, including Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Country Song.

Beyoncé now has 34 Grammy Awards

During the premier event, Beyoncé won her first award of the evening. After receiving these awards, the singer now has a total of 34 Grammys. Before Beyoncé, the last record in the duo or group performance category was held by The Pointer Sisters in 1975.
