The North Sumatra-Acee Regional Council for Christian Education has reaffirmed its commitment to driving transformation in Christian education through the observance of Indonesian Christian School Day, combined with a simultaneous prayer event involving Christian schools across various regions.

This activity serves as a means for spiritual reflection while strengthening the strategic role of Christian education in shaping a generation of character, integrity, and competitiveness in a changing era.

The Chairperson of the North Sumatra-Acee Regional Council for Christian Education stated that Christian schools in Indonesia have a long history and make a tangible contribution to national development, particularly in shaping the character and life values of students.

“This moment reminds us that Christian education is not just about teaching and learning, but also about building faith, character, and the future of the nation’s generation,” he said.

He further noted that the council continues to promote educational transformation by strengthening core values, namely:

Compassion,
Collaboration, and
Creativity.

Additionally, the “7 Strong” strategy is being developed as a foundation for organizational strengthening, covering aspects such as institutional capacity, finance, strategy, human resources, branding, partnerships, and the power of prayer.

In terms of future policy direction, the council invites all stakeholders—teachers, principals, foundations, churches, and the government—to continue synergizing in improving the quality of Christian education.

As the current program period begins, the council has also prepared various strategic steps involving teachers, principals, and students as key participants in the educational transformation process.

The trust placed by the central council in the North Sumatra-Acee Regional Council to organize a public speaking event for principals and to host the National Working Meeting of the Christian Education Council is a form of recognition of its readiness and commitment to advancing Christian education in Indonesia.

In addition to focusing on educational development, the council continues to demonstrate social concern through various assistance programs, including support for teachers and communities in need.

Concluding his statement, the Chairperson of the North Sumatra-Acee Regional Council for Christian Education invited all educators to continue moving forward together in faith, hope, and love.

“With a spirit of togetherness and God’s guidance, we believe that the transformation of Christian education will continue to bring real impact to the church, society, and the nation,” he concluded.
