The Asahan District Government held the Government Coordination Meeting (RakorPem) for April 2026 as a strategic forum to align regional priority programs with national development policies. The event took place at the Asahan District Health Office Hall on Friday, April 17, 2026.

The meeting was led by the Vice Regent of Asahan, Rianto, representing the directives of the Regent of Asahan, and was attended by the Regional Secretary, assistants, expert staff, heads of regional apparatus organizations, sub-district heads, division heads, the director of H. Abdul Manan Simatupang Regional General Hospital, the director of Tirta Silau Piasa Regional Water Company, and heads of community health centers throughout Asahan District.

In his directives, the Vice Regent emphasized that the Government Coordination Meeting serves as an important platform for synchronizing the implementation of priority programs, particularly in accelerating the regional economy, strengthening communities, improving the quality of human resources, and public services.

All regional apparatuses were instructed to support several priority programs, including the ASRI Movement, Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives, Red and White Fishermen’s Villages, the Rice Field Printing Program, the Free Nutritious Meal Program, and educational programs such as People’s Schools and Garuda Schools.

Additionally, the government emphasized the implementation of civil servant talent management in accordance with the latest regulations to place the best personnel in strategic positions. This is expected to support the development vision of Asahan District, namely “Asahan that is Prosperous, Religious, Advanced, and Sustainable.”

In the social sector, the Asahan District Government continues to optimize the Uninhabitable Housing Program targeting low-income residents, the elderly, and people with disabilities. This program aims to improve housing quality while enhancing community welfare.

Asahan District Health Office Hall
