On April 14, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau released the “Beijing 2026 College Graduates Recruitment Announcement for Rural Agricultural Support Work,” initiating the recruitment of rural revitalization coordinators for 2026. This year, Beijing will recruit 467 college graduates to serve as rural revitalization coordinators and engage in agricultural support work in rural areas. The application period runs from 10:00 on April 16 to 17:00 on April 21. The service term for rural revitalization coordinators is five years. Upon contract expiration, Beijing will implement various comprehensive measures, including targeted civil service recruitment, special recruitment for public institutions, support for further education, and encouragement for innovation and entrepreneurship, to promote high-quality career mobility and development for the coordinators.
This recruitment targets Beijing-born college graduates aged 30 or younger, who graduated within the last two years (2025, 2026), as well as Beijing-born graduates from 2024 who have not secured employment (have not signed a labor contract with any employer and have no social insurance payment records). Graduates can visit the official website of the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, open the “Recruitment Announcement” in the “Announcements” section, and review relevant positions in the “Beijing 2026 College Graduates Recruitment Positions for Rural Agricultural Support Work” table. Applicants must register and log in through the User Center section of the public service platform on the bureau’s official website, then select “Social Recruitment Exams” from the service list to submit their application. There is no application fee for this exam, and applicants may only choose one position.
The recruitment of rural revitalization coordinators is a key initiative by Beijing to implement the requirements of the Central Organization Department and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security regarding the “Three Supports and One Assistance” plan for college graduates, encouraging those aspiring to take root in rural areas to serve the cause of rural revitalization. The planned and organized selection of college graduates to work in rural areas strengthens rural organizational structures, disseminates advanced ideas and knowledge, improves grassroots governance and service capabilities, and also promotes high-quality and full employment for college graduates. Since 2019, Beijing has recruited rural revitalization coordinators from college graduates for eight consecutive years, establishing a team of approximately 2,000 coordinators distributed across more than 1,700 villages in the city to carry out agricultural support work. Currently, 93% of coordinators whose contracts have expired have achieved career mobility and re-employment, with over half choosing to continue working at the grassroots level to serve rural development.
