Al-Ahli coach Matthias Jaissle confirmed his team’s readiness to face Johor Darul Ta’zim in the AFC Champions League Elite quarter-finals, emphasizing the importance of the match and his team’s desire to deliver a strong performance at home.

Jaissle said during the press conference held today, Thursday, in Jeddah: “We are excited to play the match on our home ground and we aim to put on a distinguished performance. The match is very important for us, and we have prepared for it in the best possible way.”

He added: “We must adhere to the tactical instructions and maintain focus throughout the course of the match, especially since the opponent possesses highly skilled players and represents a real challenge.”

The Al-Ahli coach pointed out that the level of competition in the current edition of the tournament is not much different from the previous edition, confirming that this stage sees a high degree of challenge among all teams.

Al-Ahli will meet Johor at 5:45 PM tomorrow, Friday, as part of the AFC Champions League Elite quarter-final matches.
