Al-Hilal Club announced an injury to one of its players ahead of the friendly match against Japan’s Urawa Reds, as part of the team’s preparations for the new season. The club is set to participate in local and continental competitions in the upcoming season.

According to an official statement, the technical director decided to rest player “Mutaeb Al-Harbi” from participating in the friendly match due to influenza. Goalkeeper “Mohammed Al-Yami” was also given a break due to knee pain.

The match marked the debut of Uruguayan player Darwin Núñez, Al-Hilal’s new signing, after finalizing the contract and agreeing on all financial and contractual terms.

Darwin Núñez scored in his first appearance with Al-Hilal after seizing an opportunity and netting a goal against Urawa Reds.
