On the morning of August 6th, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee’s Working Group No. 9 held a meeting with the Party Committees of Tung Thien Ward and Doai Phuong Commune to discuss preparations for the first Party Congress of wards and communes for the 2025-2030 term.
During the meeting, the Secretary of the Tung Thien Ward Party Committee reported that, following directives from the City Party Committee on organizing Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 18th Hanoi Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress, the Tung Thien Ward Party Committee had swiftly implemented congress preparations after restructuring under the two-level local government model.
Tung Thien Ward currently has 58 grassroots Party organizations with 3,173 Party members. The Ward Party Executive Committee consists of 21 members, including 10 Standing Committee members and 5 Inspection Committee members.

After its establishment, the Ward Party Standing Committee and Executive Board focused on directing preparations for grassroots Party congresses ahead of the first Tung Thien Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. So far, 21/21 grassroots Party cells and 5/5 newly established Party organizations have successfully held their congresses.
The draft congress documents have identified specific goals, directions, and targets for the 2025-2030 term. Four conferences were held to gather feedback from Party cells, executive boards, and former key officials before finalizing the fourth draft of the Political Report.

Propaganda efforts for the congress have been strengthened through various activities, including decorations, flags, banners, exhibitions, and digital displays. Preparations for the first Party Congress of Tung Thien Ward have been completed.
During the meeting, Working Group No. 9 acknowledged the thorough preparations and suggested improvements, including highlighting achievements from the previous term, refining political reports, and selecting key discussion topics related to economic development and Party building.

Meanwhile, the Doai Phuong Commune Party Committee reported overcoming organizational challenges and ranking 23rd among 126 communes and wards in the city.

The commune has 52 grassroots Party organizations with 2,348 members. The Party Committee has issued guidelines for post-merger congress preparations and established subcommittees to support the upcoming congress.
