The Medina Region Municipality has implemented a series of intensive field efforts as part of its strategy to enhance compliance and raise the level of adherence to regulatory requirements in commercial establishments across the region. The municipality reported that its efforts during the past June included conducting 21,512 inspection tours targeting various commercial activities in Medina, resulting in the identification of 11,035 violations as part of enforcing regulations and improving compliance efficiency in the local market. Additionally, the municipality worked on developing the capabilities of public health sector workers by training 2,003 individuals under a health education program, contributing to the promotion of preventive practices within commercial establishments. These efforts reflect the municipality’s commitment to applying the highest standards of safety and quality, supporting urban development goals, and enhancing quality of life in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
