Medina Region

The Medina Region in western Saudi Arabia is home to the city of Medina, the second holiest city in Islam. It is historically significant as the site where the Prophet Muhammad migrated to in 622 CE, establishing the first Muslim community. The city’s focal point is the Prophet’s Mosque, which contains his tomb and is a major pilgrimage site.

My Municipality platform

The “My Municipality” platform is a digital government service initiative designed to streamline citizen access to local administrative services. It was developed to modernize municipal operations, moving processes like bill payments, permit applications, and information requests online. This e-governance tool enhances efficiency and accessibility for residents, reflecting a broader global shift towards digital public service delivery.

Kingdom’s Vision 2030

“Kingdom’s Vision 2030” is not a physical place but a strategic framework and blueprint for Saudi Arabia’s future development. Launched in 2016 by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, its history is rooted in the need to diversify the nation’s economy away from oil dependency. The vision outlines ambitious goals to transform the country socially, economically, and culturally by the year 2030.
