Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has directed that the airport road connecting the Prophet’s Mosque to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Road leading to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and the royal terminal at the air gateway, passing through the Rua Al Madinah project—the largest hospitality project in the world—be named “Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road.” On this occasion, the Prince of the Madinah region and Chairman of the Development Authority expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, highlighting the pioneering role of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in launching developmental initiatives and strategic projects across the Kingdom, which have had a tangible impact in various regions, including Madinah. The “Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Road” is a strategic axis in Madinah, extending 13 kilometers and intersecting with major roads: King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Road (First Ring Road), King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Road (Second Ring Road), and King Khalid bin Abdulaziz Road (Third Ring Road). Along the “Prince Mohammad bin Salman Road,” several development projects are being implemented by the Madinah Region Municipality and the Development Authority, most notably the “Humanizing Madinah” project to develop vehicle and pedestrian pathways and building facades, in line with the design guidelines of the Saudi Architecture Map to enhance quality of life and develop the urban landscape, along with the environmental rehabilitation project for Wadi Qana, one of the most important historical valleys.
