Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan sent a message of thanks to his audience after the success achieved by the film “Lion” in cinemas, expressing his happiness with the positive reactions and high ratings of the work.

Ramadan explained, via his account on Facebook, that the film managed to achieve revenues exceeding 70 million pounds in less than 20 days within Egypt, coinciding with its competition during the 2026 Eid al-Adha film season.
Ramadan said in his post: “Thank God for your evaluation of the film, and thank God the revenues reached 70 million pounds in less than 20 days in Egypt alone, and my audience is paying the price of my success.”
