The National Meteorological Center’s weather report for today indicates that conditions remain favorable for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds and hail in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions.
Fog formation is also possible in parts of these regions, as well as in parts of the Eastern Province.
Meanwhile, active winds raising dust and sand will continue to affect the coastal parts of the Al-Madinah and Tabuk regions, as well as the western parts of the Riyadh region.

Red Sea

Surface winds: Northwest to northerly at 20-40 km/h over the northern and central parts, and westerly to northwesterly at 15-25 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with the formation of thunderclouds over the southern part.

Wave height: 1 to 2 meters over the northern and central parts, and 0.5 to 1 meter, reaching over 2 meters with the formation of thunderclouds over the southern part.

Sea state: Slight to moderate waves over the northern and central parts, and slight to moderate waves becoming rough with the formation of thunderclouds over the southern part.

Arabian Gulf

Surface winds: Westerly to northwesterly over the northern and central parts, and easterly to southeasterly over the southern part at 10-25 km/h.

Wave height: 0.5 to 1 meter.

Sea state: Slight waves.

Makkah Weather

The National Meteorological Center’s weather report warns of light rain in parts of the Makkah region today.
The phenomenon begins at 1 PM and continues until 8 PM.
The warning includes: Adham, Maysan, Bani Yazid, Jadhuma, Maysan, Yalamlam, Al-Taif, and Al-Ardiyat.
Associated effects include: Active winds, reduced horizontal visibility, and thunderstorms.

Jazan

Makkah

Makkah is the holiest city in Islam, located in Saudi Arabia. It is the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad and the site of the Kaaba, the most sacred shrine in Islam, which Muslims believe was built by Abraham and his son Ishmael.
