The Jeddah Municipality revealed the issuance and renewal of 8,105 health certificates during July, along with the examination of 6,502 food samples through the Laboratory Department, as part of its regulatory efforts under the “Ijada” program for health facilities.
Increasing Compliance Rates
The Municipality stated that inspection tours covered health facilities across 11 sub-municipalities, aiming to improve compliance rates among commercial and health establishments. This will enhance service quality and contribute to food safety for residents and visitors.
Jeddah Municipality confirmed the continuation of its regulatory efforts through field inspections to ensure health requirements are met in food establishments and to raise compliance levels. Facilities can easily access municipal services through the “Baladi” platform, which allows issuing and printing health certificates without visiting the Municipality by electronically linking medical examination results with the health platform.
