The Minister of Communications and Information Technology confirmed that the Kingdom, with support and empowerment, has launched a series of initiatives to help the world bridge gaps in computing, data, and algorithms, contributing to the service of humanity.
This was stated during the Kingdom’s speech delivered at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) celebration in Geneva, marking its 160th anniversary, attended by world leaders, decision-makers, and international technology figures.

Acceleration of Artificial Intelligence Technologies

The Minister noted that the world stands at a pivotal stage with the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technologies, emphasizing that gaps in computing, data, and algorithms require a collective and immediate response.
He highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to continuing its efforts and building international partnerships to address AI gaps, ensuring digital inclusion for all without exception.

He affirmed that the coming years will be decisive in shaping the future and that cooperation is the only way to avoid a new divide between societies and nations, building a more balanced world where modern technologies serve humanity and promote comprehensive development.
