The Amaan Association for Humanitarian Services announced the successful implementation of the Ramadan Basket project for the year 1447 AH, which benefited hundreds of needy families in Al-Munayzilah, as part of the association’s ongoing efforts to promote social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.
The report issued by the association stated that the project initially targeted 500 Ramadan baskets, while 602 complete food baskets were provided and distributed, along with 640 kilograms of meat. This initiative benefited 602 families, totaling 2,343 individuals, a step that reflects the association’s commitment to expanding the scope of support and reaching as many beneficiaries as possible.
It was confirmed that the success of the project is due to divine grace and the support of benefactors and supporting entities, praising the generous contributions made by community members which helped achieve the goals of the Ramadan initiative.
In a statement it was said:
“We extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to all contributors and supporters who played a major role in the success of this year’s Ramadan Basket project. The community’s solidarity had a profound impact in delivering support to those who deserve it and bringing joy to the benefiting families during Ramadan.”
It was added:
“We also highly appreciate the great efforts made by the work team in beneficiary management and the volunteers who played a pivotal role in organizing, preparing, and distributing the project to the beneficiary families with complete dedication and sincerity.”
It was noted that support for the association’s projects is open for all the humanitarian programs and initiatives it implements throughout the year, confirming that the association has provided several facilitated channels for those wishing to contribute, whether through the association’s online store or by bank transfer to the association’s official account.
It was affirmed that the association continues to implement its developmental and relief programs targeting needy families, calling on community members and the public and private sectors to continue supporting these humanitarian efforts to enhance social solidarity and achieve a sustainable impact in serving the beneficiaries.
