King Fahd International Airport

King Fahd International Airport (KFIA), located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is the largest airport in the world by land area, covering approximately 780 square kilometers. Opened in 1999, it was named after King Fahd bin Abdulaziz and serves as a major hub for the eastern region of the country. The airport features modern facilities, including a grand mosque and a royal terminal, reflecting its importance as a gateway for both religious and business travel.

Al-Ahsa

Al-Ahsa, located in eastern Saudi Arabia, is one of the world’s largest oases and a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its lush date palm groves, historic irrigation systems, and cultural significance. With a history dating back over 5,000 years, it has been a vital agricultural and trade center, influenced by various civilizations, including the Dilmun, Abbasids, and Ottomans. Today, it preserves ancient landmarks like Jawatha Mosque and the Qasr Ibrahim fortress, reflecting its rich heritage.

Al-Qaisumah

Al-Qaisumah is a small town in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, historically known as a key stopover for trade and pilgrimage routes. It gained significance due to its strategic location near major oil fields, contributing to the region’s economic development. Today, it serves as a gateway to the vast deserts of northern Saudi Arabia and remains an important logistical hub.

Dammam Airports

Dammam Airports refer to the aviation facilities serving Dammam, the capital of Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province. The primary airport, King Fahd International Airport (KFIA), opened in 1999 and is the largest airport in the world by land area. It serves as a major hub for both domestic and international flights, reflecting the region’s economic and logistical importance in the Gulf.

Saudi Vision 2030

“Saudi Vision 2030” is an ambitious strategic framework launched in 2016 by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to reduce Saudi Arabia’s dependence on oil, diversify its economy, and develop sectors like tourism, technology, and renewable energy. The plan includes major projects like NEOM, a futuristic smart city, and aims to transform the country socially and economically by promoting innovation, women’s empowerment, and cultural openness. Rooted in the Kingdom’s long-term goals, it seeks to position Saudi Arabia as a global investment and tourism hub by 2030.
