The premiere of the project took place on August 26. The day before, a special screening for four-legged friends was held at the Okko summer cinema at VDNKh. It was attended by Jack Russell Terriers Milka and Greg, Shiba Inu Jarvis, Welsh Corgi Bun, French Bulldog Gosha, Siberian Husky Al, Yorkshire Terriers Misha and Nika, Chihuahuas Lenya and Zhuzha, Labradoodle Fanya, and many others.
“Dogumentaries” is a unique project. Each short film is created taking into account the characteristics of dogs’ perception: their dichromatic vision and hearing acuity. The plot twists will also be interesting for pet owners; a special intro episode “Dogumentaries Through the Eyes of Experts” was also filmed for them, where dog trainers and veterinarians talk about how animals perceive sounds and visual content.
Currently, two “dogumentary” films are available to subscribers of the Okko online cinema: “Woolly Tomahawk”, shot in the style of a leisurely classic western, and the more dynamic and plot-driven “Lord of the Sheep”, where the main character tries to cope with an uncontrollable herd. In addition, Okko has a large.
